American Freedom

My freedom from tyranny, I appreciate and value, as exists because of those having founded America. And when we think of those having founded America, most often we are reminded of those whose discussions and deliberations formed our constitutional government. However, those who contributed to the founding of America included all the colonists, who responded to the revolutionary call of "Give Me Liberty, Or Give Me Death". A revolution that made possible the founding of the United States of America a nation.

Reflecting the bonding of all the colonists, who contributed so, is the beginning of The Constitution by the words "We The People". The depth of that, the meaning of that, to many a new American citizen, we need to remember. And we need to honor.

However, by my analysis, many a new American knew the word fair mostly about themselves, than inclusively about others. The purposes of the revolution bonded them in a thinking of fairness for themselves, as would effect them each, as is more the truth about what the word fair means. The word fair, a beautiful word truly so.

The revolution bonding then in a thinking, as was for many of them an educational experience actually. And supportively, such an educational, such an influential revolutionary experience, was for their thinking "We The People", as much like naturally involved them still. Their bonding of such a comradery of revolutionary efforts not far behind them. And by the words "We The People", all felt that they were included still. And respected still Therefore, such a bonding was not fleeting. And the glory of their purpose together successful, the glory was not totally fleeting from them in later years and decades. "We The People" ringing in their minds still.

Freedom from tyranny the having, and such freedom celebrated. Though freedom is not what we Americans, posterity, are now about. In our daily lives, equal freedoms are what we are about. Equal freedoms each our having, and this respected also others, who we are daily among. Freedom of America's revolution was about freedom from tyranny, something we already have and need not seek. And need not be about.

Equal freedoms each citizen as is fair. As considers oneself, and considers also others than only oneself. And this is the truth, the constitutional truth, though some Americans know not the true meaning of the word fair still.

In the 1950s and especially in the 1960s, the blacks rose up in revolution against the tyranny of prejudice, but civilly so. They demanded to be recognized and respected as rightful citizens equally so. And they exemplified themselves as more advanced beings, respectful civility as they were, than many of those who opposed them. Though most blacks were educationally suppressed. Amazing was that movement, that rebellion.

Looking back, seems the blacks had an impossible task before them. However, protests they were able to manage, though their public protests were discouraged. And additional legislation could constitutionally be, as constitutionally provided, though the new civil rights legislation was opposed.

In the 1950s and 1960s, the nation America approaching two centuries in age, many a white person still knew not the true meaning of the word fair. Though, the beauty of the word fair called to also them still. And eventually the opposing whites, those whites who opposed, yielded to the demanded freedom from tyranny as the blacks steadfastly pursued. Quite impressive was that rebellion, as the rebellion developed by black leadership, than only the success.

American freedom is about equal freedoms. Though equal freedoms are not about only oneself. As is fitting with the word fair. And as is divine knowing the word fair. The word fair an advanced word, a word of the future, one could say.

Competition is in America, as encouraged by the nature of sport and as encouraged by the nature of a free enterprise system. However, equal constitutional freedoms to be equally true cannot be allowed nor supported as compete-able against. And this some Americans sometimes forget. Much like habitually forget. Wanting life fair, fair for themselves. Perhaps blinded by the happiness they pursue for themselves.

Voicing equal freedoms, the hearing of this by our youth, is knowledge their hearing, knowledge about the ways of adults among themselves, who they naturally emulate and someday want to liken. Hearing only the word freedom, a word that can be interpreted, that can be heard, in a variety of ways, gives no definite direction nor settled composure of oneself. And after all, we each already have freedom, freedom from tyranny. Our pursuance for such freedom is not our need. This, while our need for respected equal freedoms is our daily need still.

Voicing equal freedoms can seem to be old hat, can sound old hat, can sound not right of a mind set. Though such old hat thinking is our nation’s foundation, a foundation our posterity will need true also in the distant morrows.

Sometimes, casting light into the darkness reveals unexpected truths. Some truths that were, and some truths that are. Though with wisdom, we dare not enter the morrows with our minds about our history and our heritage clouded, but with our minds about our history and our heritage clear.
